Sarah K. Pedinotti (Lip Talk) is an artist, musician, and storyteller whose work dissolves the boundaries between sound, performance, visual art, and conceptual practice. Known for her immersive and experimental approach, her work is rooted in curiosity, play, and deep observation of both the natural and surreal. Mantis Shrimp Matrix is her first large-scale installation and a continuation of her exploration of perception, identity, and the invisible forces that animate our inner and outer worlds.

Sarah K. Pedinotti presents Mantis Shrimp Matrix, an immersive, multi-sensory installation that explores perception, the search for meaning, and our connection to the unseen—through the lens of one of natureʼs most ancient and extraordinary creatures. The mantis shrimp, with its ability to detect ultraviolet, infrared, and polarized light, perceives a spectrum far beyond human vision. This project asks: What does it mean to see? And how might we expand perception—not just biologically, but creatively, ancestrally, and spiritually?
* A special collaborative performance featuring musicians Lip Talk and Fu Takada, with live Butoh by Kana Kitty will be held on Tuesday, May 27th from 6:30pm!
