SAKI OTSUKA returns to GALLERY ETHER with the all-new solo exhibition “Taking Back Myself”, a deeply personal exploration of the artist’s real life experience. Featuring a diverse collection of works, including photographs, mono-prints, and video created around a central installation, this final testimony on this chapter of her story speaks to the reclamation of the soul in the aftermath of traumatic sexual violence, and the complex realities of living as a woman.

Life Drawing "Movement
Join us for “Movement,” a special life drawing event with model and performer Yu.
In this session we will explore the intersection of modern dance, fashion, and expressive art. Yu, a model and performer, will bring dynamic poses that highlight movement and fluidity beyond gender boundaries. Whether you’re an experienced artist or just beginning, this event is open to all skill levels. We encourage all styles and will together experiment with ways to translate motion and emotion into line and form.
Basic art materials and paper are provided for newcomers. Come and enjoy an afternoon of POSE, DRAW, PLAY!
